Latvian Cup (Latvijas kauss) - the national knockout cup competition in Latvia organised by the Latvian Football Federation. Regulations: the tournament is played as single-elimination ties with pairings and hosts decided by draw, when clubs from different tiers meet the lower-tier club hosts, a match is 90 minutes, if level it goes to extra time of two 15-minute periods and then to a penalty shoot-out if required, the winner earns a place in the UEFA Conference League, and if the cup winner has already qualified for UEFA club competitions as league champion the place is reassigned to the next eligible club in the league standings.
